There are times when you will have a list of Certificate Holders in a spreadsheet or some other electronic form that you would like to upload instead of having to manually enter.
This could be from another system such as:
- An agency management
- An insurance company back office system
- Another ACORD Forms service you are moving up from
- Your insured may have a file
We allow you to upload using ACORD XML data format or our Excel Spreadsheet Template format.
Here is a quick run through of how to do this using a spreadsheet.
This is your list of Certificate Holders before you upload more:

From the Certificate Center select "Import" from the drop down menu

Select the Person or Company to whose account you want to upload the Certificate Holders

Start the Import Wizard

Assuming you have already downloaded our template, select the file to upload. Notice there is no specific naming convention. We recommend you name each one so you will know what was in the file when you view your upload log at a later date.
