ACORD 62AK Instructions

ACORD 62 AK (2/98) – Alaska Auto Supplement, Exclusion of Named Drivers From Auto Insurance Coverage

Alaska law now requires an insurer to exclude from motor vehicle liability coverage, any driver who resides in the household, or is a relative of the named insured, when requested to do so by the named insured.

However, the Alaska Division of Insurance requests that named insureds be provided with an explanation of the risks involved when drivers are excluded from coverage, and that the named driver exclusion be signed by the named insured at the beginning of each policy period.

Use ACORD 62 AK to comply with the above requirements.
