E-Mail Completed ACORD Forms as an Attachment

You can now email a PDF as an attachment in addition to emailing a link to a PDF.

The advantage of e-mailing an attachment is that the person you send the attachment to can save the completed form to their desktop. They can then do whatever they would do with any PDF form.

This is especially useful if you have an agency management system or a company management system that allows you to upload PDF forms into your customer files. The flattened, completed PDF file becomes not an interactive document but just a PDF. Most imagining systems will allow you to attach this to you customer files.

Now you have three ways to e-mail your forms...

  • As an Attachment that recepient can save as a completed form
  • As an imbedded URL link - the most secure way
  • As an MicroSoft Excel Spreadsheet file - the recepient can pull the data from this

And remember, forms completed as a combined form get emailed as a single form.
