Why Have
We Added This?
The Workspace approach is
still the fasted way to get ACORD forms if all you want to do is fill them out.
But is you are using Cap-Dat ACORD as your agency management tool - and a lot
of you are - then working through Profiles lets you reuse information much better.
It is also a format you will be more familiar with.
Every file or form or upload
you create in Profiles allows you to also save that itme to specific folders
in Workspace.
But Profiles lets you add
items from any Workspace documents, links, images, etc. to as many different
Profiles as you wish.
Profiles is also
one more step towards our goal of allowing you to use the Cap-Dat ACORD platform
to collaborate with others - insureds, underwriters, claims adjusters, certificate
holders, auditors, etc.
